Investment Required
The fee for a Doc Popcorn Standard franchise is $36,500. A franchisee can also purchase a Single Unit franchise for an initial fee of $27,500, or an Empire Builder Franchise for $59,500.
Doc Popcorn provides the following range of investments required to open your initial franchise. The range assumes that all items are paid for in cash. To the extent that you choose to finance any of these expense items, your front-end investment could be substantially reduced.
The prices below reflect the costs for a Fixed Poperating Unit. A Mobile Poperating Unit is also available, with total costs estimated at roughly half of the Fixed Poperating Unit costs.

Ongoing Expenses
Doc Popcorn franchisees pay a royalty fee of 6% of gross revenue per week, and a computer software and intranet fee of $142.45 a month. Additional fees include a store camera fee.
What You Get—Training and Support
Doc Popcorn provides an array of services to support franchisees and aid in developing successful business operations. Prior to opening, Doc Popcorn assists franchisees in selecting an exclusive Development Area and provides a five- to eight-day training course held at the Doc Popcorn headquarters in Denver, CO. The training consists of approximately 60 hours of classroom and field instruction, covering topics such as product training, accounting, sales training, leadership, employment management, catering, merchandising and secrets to success.
Doc Popcorn offers considerable ongoing support to franchisees as they manage their business, including advice concerning sales, promotional materials, and marketing. Doc Popcorn may also hold occasional additional mandatory conferences and training programs for the benefit of franchisees.
Territory
Doc Popcorn grants protected areas delineated by counties and containing at minimum a population of approximately 1 million.
