The Tilted Kilt

When successful restaurateur Mark DiMartino opened the first Tilted Kilt in Las Vegas, he had a vision of a contemporary, Celtic-themed sports pub staffed with beautiful servers. Today, that vision continues in over 20 states with locations across the nation. Tilted Kilt remains committed to serving cold beer and good food in a fun, comfortable atmosphere. Selling the fun of a pub experience is what makes the Tilted Kilt different from other bar and restaurant concepts – that, and the uniquely designed, theme-driven costumes. This fun atmosphere is alsoreflected in the architectural features of the building and its unique décor— all part of the Tilted Kilt brand.

Franchisees can take advantage of The Tilted Kilt’s growing brand awareness all over the country via its complete merchandising program. The Tilted Kilt franchise package offers an original concept, sound operational procedures, and marketing tools that insure the operator’s ability to deliver the fun factor. The fact that The Tilted Kilt creates a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for customers develops strong customer retention and brand loyalty.

What You Get—Training and Support

The Tilted Kilt assists franchisees in selecting a location based on target demographics, and provides a unique restaurant design and décor to attract customers.

Every Franchisee and their management team is required to attend a four-day Tilted Kilt Brand Orientation School at Tilted Kilt headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. In this intense session, the TKFO management fully explain the system, the brand, and the philosophy behind them. Everything from mission statements to decor and equipment in a Tilted Kilt Pub is discussed. Once an opening date has been set, a Tilted Kilt training team travels to the new pub location for on-site training of the entire staff, including hostesses, servers, bar tenders, kitchen help and others. Then part of the training crew and the area developer remain onsite through the first few days of operation.

As the Tilted Kilt system continues to evolve and grow, additional training is provided for franchisees and key personnel.

Territory

The Tilted Kilt does not grant exclusive territories.

Note: The tables and information regarding the number of operating units, investment required, on-going expenses, training and territory grants were taken from the company’s 2011 FDD. The 2011 write-ups will be incorporated into the 2011 Edition of Bond’s Hottest New Franchises publication.
